EDISS competitive recruitment for doctoral contracts, campaign 2017

► FOREIGN APPLICANTS



Every year, at the beginning of July, doctoral contracts are awarded by EDISS through a competitive procedure. Applications are reviewed by the members of the Doctoral School Council.

► You will find below the guidelines for submission and the key dates:
♦ Submission of application by e-mail: May, 22, 2017
♦ Eligibility: June, 1st, 2017
♦ Interviews: June, 19-20, 2017

► Application deadline: May, 22, 2017

→Please complete your Doctoral Contract Application Form 2017 
→Add all requested documents (cf. below) and combine them in a single pdf file
→ Send the complete file to the doctoral school office: secretariat.ediss@univ-lyon1.fr (exclusively by e-mail).

♦ Detailed Curriculum Vitae: (maximum 2 pages)

♦ Letter of support signed by the PhD supervisor
♦ Letter of support signed by the director of the Research Unit or laboratory where the applicant will undertake a PhD
♦ A copy of the Master’s diploma or equivalent degree
♦ The official transcript of marks throughout the 4 semesters * of the Master’s

*Candidates who do not have the final results of the second year of the Master’s or an equivalent degree by may 29 may submit their application and send their results by e-mail to the doctoral school office as soon as they are available.

The eligibility of the applicants will be reviewed by the members of the Doctoral school Council on
June, 1st, 2017.


► Applicants are required to provide:
♦ An official transcript of a Master's degree or equivalent diploma (at least 5 year Higher Education)
♦ A proof of an overall passing grade higher than or equal to 12/20 at the first session of Master 2 or an equivalent diploma
♦ A PhD project proposal within the scientific research fields of EDISS
♦ A letter of support from the PhD supervisor, necessarily affiliated to EDISS 
♦ A letter of support from the director of the Research Unit or laboratory affiliated to EDISS
And should not have any professional income.

► Interviews: June, 19-20, 2017
The eligible applicants will be interviewed on either June, 19 or June, 20 by the members of the Council. They will receive detailed information on the interview process by e-mail only.
